Should I get Married ?

Yep, I am by asian family’s by far any standard at that age where I need to start thinking (or, at least pretend) of that thing I dreaded all my life !

But really, when should one be ready ? When is the right time to marry someone ? When you are ready ? When the society tells you are ready ? When you think you are ready ? When you sit down with your parents and decide may be you are ready as they are ready ? Or, You are ready because all your friends are ready?

It is not uncommon to be politely eschewed into these conversation where, by accident(pun intended), someone brings in the topic when you are a girl ! Not lying, I have that conversation with my friends much often than I would have liked myself :$ But, deep down, often I am left to thinking what is important in life ? O.O

2. Women account for only 5% of Fortune 500 CEOs.

3. The wage gap won’t close until 2058.

4. Five States received an “F” grade on women’s equality in the U.S.

5. Real change takes time..

12 Year Old Gaurika Singh sets a new national record

Record setter 12 year old Gaurika Singh has set new records for Nepalese women swimmers in International stage at the ongoing 16th FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia. Just before the tournament, the young athlete set new national records in 200m backstroke, 50m butterfly and 50m backstroke on the first day of 19th National Open and has amassed several accolades to their credit. Moreover, her pledge to donate the prize money from National Open to Shanti Initiative Eduation Nepal, which is rebuilding disaster struck schools in Nepal, has touched our core and inspired us.

We wish her all the success in the future and hope she inspires younger generation to follow her suit.
